| Thank you for visiting with us
on-line. We try to treat all our clients as individuals and give their legal problems our
most serious attention and the benefit of experienced insight. Although we are oriented
toward a trial practice, it is my belief that proper preparation for trial includes
exhausting all possibilities for getting cases settled before they are presented to a
judge and jury. Today there are a number of avenues to approach dispute resolution in
addition to traditional litigation. Many people find that the savings in cost and time and
the greater degree of control over the process make alternative dispute resolution
attractive, and we actively pursue these approaches with our clients. The ultimate
objective, of course, is to get the dispute resolved to the satisfaction of our client. We encourage our clients to ask questions so that they can
better understand the legal process. As our lives become increasingly complex, our legal
affairs likewise demand a multidisciplinary approach, and our firm is often called in to
assist other lawyers on matters falling within our expertise; likewise, we have been
fortunate to develop over the years a knowledge of the legal community that helps us
locate specialists that our clients may need. The team approach to legal problems permits
us to assemble a group of lawyers, experts and support personnel tailored to specific
client needs.
I'm also a great believer in involving the client
extensively. Often the best resource available is the client, and utilizing their skills
and input assists us in seeing that their interests are not lost in the shuffle somewhere.
We are attorneys and counselors at law. At our firm, we take that to mean that we are not
just hired guns but that our responsibility also includes listening to what our clients
tell us, and working with them to find solutions to the issues in their lives that are
affected by the legal system. Please feel free to contact us if you have questions about
our services or if you would like to arrange a consultation. In most cases we are able to
discuss your situation on at least a preliminary basis at no charge. |
